EPS pensioners will get bonus on festivals
Here I would like to give a very good news that EPFO has announced a special bonus for pensioners on the occasion of Diwali in the year 2025. All of you should know that the bonus amount is given by the government on the basis of the existing pension amount of the pensioners.
The main objective of this initiative is to improve the standard of living of pensioners as well as to make all pensioners financially strong so that they can bring happiness to their families during the festive season.
The bonus amount will be 10% more than the basic pension of the pensioners. This bonus will be distributed by the end of October. It will be transferred directly to the pensioners’ bank accounts. All eligible pensioners will get this bonus.

- The amount of bonus is going to be 10% more than the basic pension of the pensioners.
- There is every possibility that the bonus will be distributed into the accounts of all pensioners by the end of October 2025.
- This pension will be transferred directly by the government to the bank accounts of all pensioners.
- This bonus will be provided only to those pensioners who fulfil the eligibility criteria.
Increase in EPS scheme
The main news of EPS scheme is to provide financial security to the pensioners. Currently, under this scheme, pension of Rs. 7500 per month is being given to the pensioners.
This initiative of EPFO has been brought to strengthen the financial position of pensioners and changes are made from time to time due to which pensioners get more benefits.

Bonus distribution process
The government will distribute the bonus directly to the pensioners’ bank accounts. A special scheme is being prepared in collaboration with all the banks of EPFO.
