- TDS limit on bank interest has been increased from ₹50000 to ₹100000.
- TDS limit on rental income has been increased to ₹6 lakh by the government.

- In some banks, the interest rate has gone up to 11.68 percent whereas earlier it was only 8.2 percent.

- The interest rate is transferred daily on a monthly basis to the government bank account.

The pension scheme of ₹ 3500 per month has been brought for these elderly people only:-
- This is a pension scheme for the elderly belonging to BPL families. There is a pension scheme for those senior citizens whose income is very low.
Providing mobile health service with free treatment
- Under the scheme, the elderly will be provided free treatment up to ₹500000.
- Mobile medical units have been started in many states which go from village to village to conduct checkups.
- For the elderly, consultation with doctors over video calls and home delivery of medicines has also been started.
Concession and priority in travel for senior citizens
- In many states, tickets for free travel in government buses are being provided to the elderly.
- In Railways, primary and discounts are being given on ticket booking in branches.
- If you have Senior Srijan Card, you will also get priority in government service.

- One can apply for SCSS scheme through the nearest bank or post office.
- You can fill the pension scheme form by contacting the Panchayat Nagar Parishad office.
- You can apply for the medical scheme by going to a government hospital or health centre.
- If you want to make a senior citizen card, then this card can be made both online and offline.
