Ticket limit:- Maximum 150 tickets from the starting station for all unreserved coaches. Along with this, 20% tickets (approximately 30 per coach) will be issued from the intermediate stations. As we want to tell you, maximum 600 tickets will be sold for a train with unreserved coaches.
Control of software:- In the trial, the software is going to count the tickets of the train running in the next 3 hours. If the limit is reached, then the ticket sale is going to stop automatically. For example, it happens in AC and sleeper coaches.

All of you should know that in the month of February 2025, an accident took place at New Delhi Railway Station in which 18 passengers lost their lives. This step is being taken by the government to prevent a repeat of this incident. Under Section 57 of the Railway Act 1989, there is a rule to display the capacity of the coach. But due to unlimited sale of reserved tickets, more than 400 passengers start traveling in the coach. Which is also risky in many cases.
In a state like Bihar, this scheme is more needed. Here, during festivals as well as on normal days, unreserved carriages are a problem for the large number of passengers. In this situation, if this scheme is successfully implemented, then it will be a wonderful and welcome step indeed.
