Employees will have to work only for 5 days
We want to tell you here that an agreement has already been made between the Reserve Bank of India and the bank employee union on the rule of working only 5 days in a week and two days off in every bank. This agreement is going to be approved by the RBI i.e. Reserve Bank of India and the government.
If the government and RBI agree to this agreement, then the employees of this bank will have to work only 5 days in a week and the employees will get two days off in a week. However, no opinion has been shared on this proposal by RBI or the government yet. Due to which this will remain only a hope for every employee.

Here we want to tell you that different employees and bank unions of every country are constantly demanding that every Saturday of every month should be a bank holiday. Whereas on the other hand, Sunday has already been declared a holiday by the government.
If the rule of Saturday holiday is implemented in every bank, then the employees will have to work only for 5 days and due to two days holiday, the employees will be able to take a lot of rest. However, it is now dependent on the government as well as the Reserve Bank of India whether they are considering this or not.
