It is being said that the Central Government may constitute the Eighth Pay Commission by January 2026. The news is coming out that the recommendations of the commission are likely to be submitted to the government by the end of 2025.
At the same time, full preparations are being made to implement it in the early months of 2025. But on the other hand, news is coming out that if there is a delay in the process, it is being estimated that it will be postponed till 2022.

We want to tell you that the estimated 50 lakh central government employees and 65 lakh pensioners of the country are going to get direct benefit from this. This means that overall, along with the salary of a person, the pension is also going to increase.
How much will the salary increase?
The biggest question that is coming up is how much the salary will increase. So I would like to inform you that according to the information received from media reports, there is a possibility of a salary increase of 30 to 34 percent.
Information is coming out that there is only a possibility that the minimum basic salary will increase from Rs 18000 to Rs 51480.

The government uses the fitment factor to increase the salary. In the seventh commission, it was 2.57. This means that the new salary was determined by multiplying the basic salary by 2.57. However, during this period, DA was also reduced.
And then the calculation of new DA starts. According to some information, a new basis is going to be made in the Eighth Pay Commission.
